Researchers from Sweden, China, the U.S., India and Russian Federation have been studying this bird, subsequently dubbed the Himalayan Forest Thrush(Zoothera salimalii), since 2009.
The Himalayan Forest Thrush (scientific nameZoothera salimalii) is the first Indian bird to be been named after Ali.
